Day 31...

This was supposed to show the snow outside...but I like how it turned out anyway.

A new start...this is me!! Day 30...

Flattering...no!?!? LOL! And no I am not smiling...heh...who wants to smile when you look like this!

Yeah, this is me. Far from what I once was...and a long road to feeling better about me.

My excuses...having babies, too many good things to eat, it's too hard to excercise and be eat right and be healthy.

The real reason...plain and simple...LAZY! Once I was an active young person...then I got lazy. And this is where it lead me. I never had weight problems growing up. This is an adult issue only.

My reasons for wanting a change? There are many reasons...but obviosuly I just want to be more healthy...there is a reason that my pics are most always my face...and at flattering angles too. I haven't felt good about myself for years. I have never wanted to do anything about it either. It is too easy to just be lazy and not do anything. If it takes a commitment and work of any kind, I am the last to raise my hand to join. I am changing that NOW!

I want to look back in a few years and think...WOW...how did I get to that point?!?! And never look this way again!

Some facts about me...

When I graduated High School...10 years in May!!! I was in the best shape of my life.
I weighed 125 pounds...and I looked good! LOL!
Fast forward to October of that same year, I weighed 135 pounds... :S ...10 pounds! Yeah...I know...blah...but I was still in good shape. In January of 1998 I became pregnant with my first child and that started this...LOL! By the time I had my son I weighed 180+ pounds. I think 182 to be exact...but it's been 8 years so...
After he was born I think I was down to 150 instantly. But never lost anything after that. :(

So fast forward again...8 years...3 more babies...sporadic excercise...bad eating habits...lazy, lazy, lazy!! I am at my highest non-pregnant weight ever and I feel like CRAP!!!!!!!!!!! I weigh 176 pounds...and no I am not embarrased to say it...because I am making a change in my life!

So there I am! I will update once a month with a new pic, and I better be seeing some results!! :D

So today was my first day of getting up before daylight and getting in shape! 5AM!! I have been up too long already...it is nap time! 1PM... Then a shower...LOL!

We had a good time at dinner and came home for Ashlyn's birthday cake...it was a good time!

Selfish...ROFL!!

So...I post a blog everyday...but I don't take the time to stop in and write anything...about me, what's going on with me....ya know?

May sound selfish...or snobby...but gosh darnit, this is MYspace! It's all about me RIGHT!!

This whole 365 thing has really made me break out of my shell! And in only 2+ weeks...AMAZING! Before this project I hated the camera...didn't want anyting to do with the front end of it!! More than happy to stay behind and catch everyone else!

Well actually what really started it, was a picture I found...
It almost felt like looking at another person! LOL! So long ago! Summer of '95...right before my Junior year of high school...Some friends talked me into posing in a bathing suit...HA!! May not sound like much...but for me...it was MUCH!! haha! It was THE hottest pic ever taken of me...LOL! Well I think so anyway...so it inspired me...Well I am far from that 16 year old person I once was...I blame it on the kids! It's all their fault! hehe! But it made me decide to go on my first phase of camera therapy...haha...and it helped a little...

Then along came this group of 365 shooters...and I wanted to try! So here I am Day 16...cutting it close today...but stickin' to it! Needing inspiration...but still enjoying the experience. So there's my latest happenings...

Doing this project has also helped me just take pics of my kids too...not feel like I have to stage a shot everytime!

P.S. Someday I may get brave and post that photo of me from long long ago...but for now...I am not that brave yet! hehe!

But haven't decided yet...it would definitely be more intersting..
But taking pics of myself is definitely more challenging.

Day 9...A couple of the kids...

Here's half of the family.
Chaz was at work, Seth was at school and Sage was napping.
Corbin came home "sick" half way through the day. We had a rough night and morning, so I think he just needed a break.
Once he got home and realized he was going to get to play the rest of the day, he wanted to go back... :/ kids!
They learned how to use my remote today, so this was snapped by Corbin.

I gained so much weight having kids that my wedding ring no longer fits... :(
So I wear my birthstone ring...I love opals!
